Not many people alive today will remember the great frog battle of 1457. It took place in a pond somewhere, possibly in England, and it is rumored that fight was for the honor of a beautiful lady frog named Frogella. We are not sure who won the battle, but the frog on the right is not looking his best. This has been pieced together by folklore, gossip, and my imagination. I’d like to think that I have done my little bit of art history for future frog generations.
This piece is entirely hand sculpted with some added stone pebbles, and handmade swords. Ouch.
